RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES

Chemicals Development Group which may be considered as an extension of ŞİŞECAM's 30 years of R&D experience in glass manufacturing, was formed in 1994.

Development Center

Development Center, established in 1999 adjacent to Soda and Kromsan Chromium Chemicals Plants, holds necessary infrastructure and expertise in order to carry out projects and activities on analytical techniques, process design, material properties, leather chemicals, energy efficiency, environmental protection and product development.

Activities of Development Center may be classified as follows:

To search, find, develop and apply environmental friendly and cost effective technologies, value adding products and production techniques for Soda Products and Chromium Chemicals,

To increase product and process design capabilities to free the company from the necessity of complete know-how,

To carry out research projects on new products, to develop proposals and to involve in application of those approved.

Development center also carries out debottlenecking and development studies on Soda Products and Chromium Chemicals production processes and supplies service to production and marketing units to meet customer demands upon requirement.
