4. PROCESS SAFETY EMERGENCY RESPONSE

Goal: To increase companies' achievement in safety from process design to production and maintenance stages. The objective is to prevent fires, explosions, chemical spills by taking necessary precautions, to mitigate the impacts of incidences in case of emergency. This code directs company management to:

 
Implement a process safety program including performance measurement, system audits and necessary arrangements
 
Assess safety risks comprehensively both for existing plants and new projects
 
Implement maintenance programs to secure safety of the site and document the activities
 
Develop and implement protective measures in order to prevent a single fault to become a disaster
 
Establish the infrastructure where the employees can identify risks and notify inappropriate conditions
 
Take lessons form previous incidents and share with stakeholders
