Sodium bicarbonate was considered as feed additive due to its acid regulatory property. After the enforcement of the EU regulatory 1831/2003, sodium bicarbonate is considered as feed material due to its sodium source.

It became mandatory to get GMP+ quality certification to take place in the European market. An audit was performed by German TUV-SUD certification body in our premises in December 2010. It was decided by the auditor that all the terms of the ISO 22000 Food Safety and Management System were implemented successfully and rewarded with GMP+ certificate.
