TANKROM® F24
Tankrom® F24 is an
alkali-free, organically masked, homogeneous powder
and high basicity basic chromium sulphate. Tankrom
F24 is readily soluble even in short floats.
Owing to additional organic masking,
Tankrom® F24
has a good buffering effect.

penetration is obtained, despite its high basicity.
Tankrom®
F24 reduces the pollution load of the effluent
which means that it is possible to use less chrome
than in conventional tannage with 33% basic chrome
tanning materials.

APPLICATION
Tankrom® F24 is added directly
into the drum in powder form.
Tankrom® F24 is applied in
a similar way as the commonly used tanning agents.
Tankrom® F24 is advised
to be used 6-10% on pelt weight for pickled unsplit
hide and skin whose pH should be 3.5-3.6. pH may
be raised up to 3.8-3.9 by low basification, if
it is required.
Tankrom® F24 is very effective
retanning agent with high chromium exhaustion. With
40-45OC bath temperature, Tankrom F24 is used 4-6%
in retanning for shaved hide and skin.
Owing to its buffering effect, Tankrom®
F24 does not change pH of bath during retanning.
Therefore, basification is not required. After two
hours running, the drum is drained and next step
is neutralization process.

STORAGE CONDITIONS
Store in cool and dry places. Keep away

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Harmful effect on skin and eye. After
contact with skin and eye wash immediately with
water. Avoid breathing the dust.
