RESİNTAN^® M

Resintan^® M is a retanning agent consisting basic chromium sulphate and some synthetic syntans.

Homogeneous dispersion of applied chemicals on the cross-section and the grain of the leather has direct relation with quality of finished leather. As it is known, chrome chemicals strongly affect the distribution of further applied chemicals. Consequently, homogeneous chromium oxide dispersion on the cross-section and the grain improves exhaustion and uniform dispersion of other chemicals used.

Resintan^® M offers the following benefits for the finished leather:

As a result of high chrome tanning productivity, reduces the residual chrome content of drained effluents.

Syntan content in Resintan M minimizes color changes and gives more brilliant color on finished leather, without compensating its given fullness and softness.

While obtaining homogeneous chrome dispersion on the cross-section and the grain, Resintan M organizes fixed chromium complexes into the leather, so it improves dispersion of retanning agent. On account of this, desired fullness, softness, elasticity and level dying are achieved.

Minimizes neutralization defects, in such a way that it creates secure environment to work against pH fluctuation in neutralization by consisting organic masking agent.

Resintan M eliminates color, fullness and elasticity differences between production parties and within the same production party, owing to its characteristic of improving distribution of other chemicals on the crosssection and the grain of leather.

APPLICATION

Resintan^® M is able to be used in retanning process of all kinds of wet-blue.

With 40-45oC float temperature, Resintan^® M is recommended to be used 2-4% for hide and skin on shaved weight. For double-face (fur) applications, Resintan^® M is recommended to be used 4-6 g/L without necessity of basification.

Resintan^® M raises up pH of float in small portion (e.g. From pH: 3.9 to pH: 4.2). After 2 hours retanning, float is drained and next step is neutralization process. According to main tanning results, if fixed chromium oxide content in wet-blue is insufficient, using Resintan^® M with Tankrom^® FS or Tankrom^® F24 would be suitable in retanning process.

25 kg inner layer polyethylene, outer layer polypropylene woven bags; palletized, shrink wrapped.

STORAGE CONDITIONS

Store in cool and dry places. Keep away from sunlight and heat sources.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Harmful effect on skin and eye. After contact with skin and eye wash immediately with water. Avoid breathing the dust.
