ALKROM® RT

Chrome containing aluminium tanning agent is used in powder form in the tanning bath due to its readily soluble structure. This product is used for tanning pelts to produce white leathers, for cooperative tanning
in chrome tannages, for retanning chrome leathers and for tanning double-faces (fur).

In sole usage, it produces almost white leather.

Advantages:

In mineral tannages, the product accelerates penetration and improves dispersion of the tanning agents in the leather.

In garment leather, it regulates of the fibre structure and thus gives a tighter grain. This improves the level of dying quality.

Improves the buffing and shaving fastness of leather.

It enables the production of white leather without causing any greening of the wool.

APPLICATION

In retanning of double-faces (fur), it is recommended to be used 2-5 g/L, depending on quantity of water. (e.g. for 200 pieces of double-face leather and a water usage of 1/10, 4-10 kg agent should be used.)

For hide and skin retanning, depending on type of leather and shaved thickness, it is recommended to be used 3-4% on shaved weight.

PACKAGING

25 kg inner layer polyethylene, outer layer polypropylene woven bags; palletized, shrink wrapped.

STORAGE CONDITIONS

Store in cool and dry places. Keep away from sunlight and heat sources.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Harmful effects on skin and eye. After contact with skin and eye wash immediately with water. Avoid breathing the dust.
